MCA 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award - Jack Poma

 

In 2017, the MCA created the "Kim G. Lagerquist Lifetime Achievement Award".

That first year it was awarded posthumously to our dear friend and colleague, Kim Lagerquist.

Each year since it has been awarded to a deserving recipient.

 

This years selection is Jack Poma. Jack's career began as a paramedic in 1979 and concluded after more than

30 years with the Beaumont Health System in nursing, nursing leadership, and administration.

Later is his career Jack served as a Board Member of the Macomb County and Oakland County

Medical Control Authorities.
